Organization and the Mid-Semester Slump

If you're anything like me, you've hit a a bit of a mid semester slump. One way I know how to get out of this slump is to get organized. At this point in the semester, projects and assignments are in full swing. Organization can help keep you from drowning in deadlines. I like to use my Lilly Pulitzer agenda to keep track of due dates and extracurricular activities.
When it comes to staying organized, I have a few tips for using your agenda/planner to its highest potential.

  • Color Code
  • Use sticky tabs
  • Write it in two places
Color coding helps me keep track of what I'm doing on a given day and what is due in which class.
Sticky tabs give me the ability to add extra information to a date that may not fit in the space provided.
I tend to be all over the place, so even though I write due dates down in my agenda, I make sure to also keep track of them in my phone.
